Sterne Agee Announces Senior Additions to Equity Research Team
NEW YORK & BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Oct 31, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. today announced that Peter J. Arment has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Company's Industrials Equity Research team covering the Aerospace & Defense sector. The Company also announced the addition of Greg T. Bolan as a Managing Director in the Company's Healthcare Research Group, and will be responsible for covering companies in the Healthcare Services sector. Mr. Arment and Mr. Bolan join a group of thirty other senior analysts within Sterne Agee's Equity Research Department.

Mr. Arment joins Sterne Agee from Gleacher and Co., Inc., where he was a senior analyst covering the aerospace and defense sector. Prior to that position, he worked at American Technology Research. He has been acknowledged numerous times by Institutional Investor, the Wall Street Journal poll, Starmine and other rating services. Mr. Arment is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
Mr. Bolan has nearly ten years of research experience. Mr. Bolan was previously employed by Wells Fargo Securities, Jefferies & Co., and from 2002 through 2005, he was a healthcare-focused research associate on the buy-side for two long/short equity hedge funds in New York City. He has also had numerous recognitions from the Wall Street Journal, Starmine, and in 2010, he was recognized as "Best Up & Comer" by Institutional Investor's All-America Research Team Survey. He is a graduate of Emory University.
