Audrey Pannell brings to Wilbanks Agency an understanding of the impact of social media techniques in developing and implementing public relations campaigns. Her expertise in extending public relations efforts through Facebook, Twitter, blogging, Flickr, YouTube, Google Analytics, Utterli, as well as social media releases and social bookmarking gives Audrey the ability to deliver a new level of results for clients.
Audrey earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Public Relations and minor in Business Administration in 2009 from Auburn University, one of the leading schools to produce young and innovative social media talent through its pioneering social media program. While at Auburn, Audrey worked with the Auburn Technical Assistance Center to develop a comprehensive public relations campaign focusing on its social media efforts. She served as Director of Public Relations and Co-Founder of the AU Body Image Education and Eating Disorder Awareness Program as well as a Panhellenic Recruitment Counselor. She was also involved with the Auburn University Public Relations Council of Alabama, Student Government Association and IMPACT.
Audrey joined Wilbanks Agency as an intern prior to graduation. Her expertise and professionalism creating, developing and implementing social media plans for the agency, and her overall public relations savvy led to her obtaining a full-time position in September 2009.
Outside of the office, Audrey is involved with various community organizations and currently serves as the public relations and social media chair for Catalyst of Birmingham, Junior Board Member for the Autism Society of Alabama and is a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham, the Public Relations Society of Alabama and the Young Professionals. Additionally, Audrey is a writer for The Pillars LLC, an online magazine highlighting Birmingham’s most remarkable businesses, people and cultural offerings. Most recently, Audrey was named Ms. Young Hot Birmingham Professional by the Young Professionals of Birmingham for her philanthropic efforts with the Autism Society of Alabama.
